All the tough times and all the things I've been through and done there have been my share of good times with my family. My mom loved doing things with my sister and I. We've even had some awesome times with my aunt and cousins. We liked trips to Colonial Williamsburg, VA, Hershey Park, PA, among other places. Going on vacation with my family were good times. The one memorable vacation we took, was my sister, mom and I to Williamsburg, VA for 4th of July in 1996. What a great time to be where the life of Americans begins. We went to Water Country USA on the 3rd, got a nice tan and had fun on all the rides. The next day, we spent it at Colonial Williamsburg. They had so much going on it was amazing. We walked the grounds, ate good food, enjoyed music games and more. Unfortunately, by mid-afternoon I was having issues with the heat, being I am heat sensitive, and had to go back to the hotel room and rehydrate. My mom brought me some take out and plenty of fluids and i rested on the bed. I told my mom to take my sister and go back to the park for the huge fireworks show they were having. I didn't want to spoil the trip for them. They got back to the room about 10 p.m. and we played scrabble for a couple hours that night. Another trip that we took was a trip to Glouster, MA summer of 93. My moms boyfriend at the time was doing Tuna fishing up there and she decided we were going to go visit for a week. It is so beautiful up there, it was like what you see in the movies with the little fishing towns. We went to some of the local resturants and checked out the little shops. The best part was taking my first whale watching trip on a boat. That was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Although families go through so much pain, you have to think about all the good. Don't let little thing come between you and the big things you need to work on them. Family is always going to be there for you when you least expect it, just think about the many people who don't have a family and would kill to be in your shoes.
